A very good statement from OLF (Oct.6) and the only ones who are not happy about H.R. 2003 is TPLF and its supporters who are crying "sovereignty".
A very good statement from OLF(Oct.6) and the only ones who are not happy about H.R. 2003 is TPLF and its supporters who are crying "sovereignty". These are the same people who supported the last Christmas invasion of Somalia billed for us to protect the "Ethiopian sovereignty" and not surprisingly sovereignty becomes an issue this time around. Here of course is in the name of getting involved in the internal affairs of TPLF's Ethiopia by the USA law makers. The bill is not asking for the liberation of Ethiopia by USA armed forces and what it will be doing is suspension of financial and political support for TPLF who is terrorizing its own citizens. Some so called anti-TPLF forces also would like this bill to denounce ONLF and OLF as terrorists and secessionists and accused Dr. Birhanu Nega as an ally of "terrorists and secessionists". The attack by the regime and its supporters no wonder cry for sovereignty and try to kill two enemies, the popular peaceful revolt by Kinijit on one side, and the armed liberation movements of OLF and ONLF on the other side.                 |
