The alliance forces for Somali re-liberation attack TPLF forces

Somalia, 16 October 2007 – Heavy clashes took place between the alliance forces for Somali re-liberation and the invading TPLF forces near the port city of Marka, in a place called Bulajin, located in Southern Somalia. Clashes were subsequent to a declared curfew, sources from the area revealed.

The sources further added that following the battle the invading TPLF forces launched rocket attacks in a highly populated area in Beldiwein city killing two children.

Similarly, TPLF forces hung seven farmers in the Shilabo and Labar villages in the Somali province of Ethiopia.

In a statement he gave pertaining to the incident, Sheikh Mahmoud, administrator of Galgadud region, strictly condemned the ruthless and vicious actions of the invading TPLF soldiers.
