Radio Freedom correspondent reporting from the Ogaden [all places in southeastern Ethiopia] has sent us a report on many battles in which heavy losses were inflicted on the lethargic colonial Ethiopian forces. Details of the battles, which occurred in many places in the Ogaden, are as follows.

On 19 November 2007 nocturnal and daylight attacks were launched against colonial forces in Selahad and Lagahida. Nineteen soldiers were known to have been killed and 15 others were wounded in the attacks.

On 17 November 2007 a colonial Ural army truck was destroyed in Foljeh in Korahey, killing over 50 colonial soldiers riding in the vehicle.

On 16 November 2007 a nocturnal attack was carried out against colonial troops in Gabagabo in Korahey region, inflicting on them losses, details of which were unavailable.

On 15 November 2007 three colonial soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in an ambush in Ged-Dher in Aware district. The soldiers were in the area to conduct a military operation. On the same date, a nocturnal attack was launched against colonial troops based in Barta in Aware, inflicting on them losses, details of which were unavailable.

On 11 November 2007, fifty-one colonial soldiers were killed and 24 others were wounded in a fierce battle that occurred in Gudhis. A militia group was among the defeated soldiers.

On 10 November 2007 four soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in a nocturnal attack against colonial troops stationed in Imi town.
