 The extensive public meetings conducted by Eritreans inside the country and abroad convey one important message: Eritrean unity and values, which have worked miracles both in liberating the nation and safeguarding its sovereignty, as well as in rebuilding the homeland, are still intact.
Ardent patriotism and strong unity, among other political advantages, are the most significant factors that have enabled the Eritrean people to overcome international conspiracies for more than half a century and secure their existence as a sovereign people and nation. The Eritrean people, despite being very limited in number and lacking any external help, have challenged and triumphed over successive superpowers because they had multiplied their limited capabilities by a strong political drive, commitment and their solid unity. Hence, all acts of aggression against the Eritrean cause were rebuffed and ploys against the people's unity were foiled. Contrary to their intensions, the continuous and unprovoked hostility against the very existence of the Eritrean people has further reinforced their unity and resolve. The Eritrean people are a peace-loving, just and honest people who have no agenda other than to rebuild and develop their nation. Thus, immediately after independence, the Eritrean people closed the chapter on all the wrong done to them and earnestly sought to foster positive and good neighborly relations with all their neighbors, including the Ethiopian people. However, as long as there are certain forces seeking to profit from instigating conflicts, such as the likes of the US Administration and their agent, the TPLF regime, the Eritrean people's quest for peace and mutual development cannot succeed. The Eritrean people are once more forced to confront the conspiracies against their sovereignty by masters and their servant regime that emanate from misguided political calculations. As has become customary in Eritrean history, the Eritrean people have not only scored a resounding victory in the battlefield, but also brought before the international court the issue under the pretext of which the aggression was launched. Accordingly, justice has a verdict which revealed the integrity of Eritreans before the world. Yet, always intent on creating havoc, the TPLF regime would rather commit suicide before accepting justice. Hence, once again, the regime and its masters are preparing to launch a suicidal war. Successive Ethiopian regimes and their masters have always found it difficult to defeat the Eritrean people because they constantly make the wrong assumptions about the people's resolve and base their conspiracies on misguided political calculations, because the Eritrean people have something that even their longtime foes cannot understand. The primary message of the recent public meetings inside the nation and abroad is then to remind these enemies that their assumptions and calculations remain erroneous. While preparing for a suicidal war, these adversaries should first take note that the Eritrean youths' ardent patriotism, the people's ever firm unity, and their special values and principles are still very much intact, for the next aggression the enemy ever tries against the Eritrean people will not only be dealt by a crushing defeat but will also be an end to their very existence and despicable history once and for all!
