ImageVOA Tigrinya Service, or to be exact Tigray Zone Service, has lately been given directives to disseminate anti-Eritrea disinformation campaign more than ever before. Starting from the head of the Service who immensely suffers from identity crisis to other staff members of the VOA Tigrinya Service with deep enmity towards Eritrea, the directives come as a welcome opportunity.

They have told the VOA correspondent in Eritrea that she is not allowed to compile reports about the country because budget is not allowed for that.  This is tantamount to saying: “Since you are compiling positive reports about Eritrea, you better shut up!”

In any case, the Eritrean people long before independence are well aware of the nature of the VOA which is administered by the US Intelligence Department. Hence, as far as we are concerned, the VOA’s current intensive smear campaign against Eritrea comes as no surprise recalling its reference to us in the days of the Mengistu regime as ‘secessionist bandits.’  Even more so, it does not make any difference.

It is inconceivable to imagine that the VOA, which did not succeed even though it had been echoing the ambition of the so-called powerful Mengistu Hailemariam’s Ethiopia, would make any difference this time by applying the same practice to the servant TPLF regime, thus becoming the servant of the servant.

Hi,

These servants are not new to Eritreans, as they are anti-eritrean servants since the begeining of their program. The only change everyone can hear from this program is the stuff of the office. Thus, Ofcourse, what can we expect from this program. They are all servants. "Wedi D'mmu kem qedemu"

you should know that VOA is still controlled by pro-EPRP people so it is both anti-EPLF and anti-TPLF. that is why woyane is blocking it because its propaganda against woyane has been going on for 17 years. let us pray the me*ia will stand for peace not war and division. amen.

Her name is Minia, as in Minia Kolel.
During the woyane sponsored anti-Eritreans demonstration that was fallaciously named an "opposition" demonstration in Washington DC, the VOA reporter assigned for the demonstration was Minia, a well known AGAME who speaks with heavy AGAME accent Tigrigna. She interviwed few of the 50 or so people in attendance, most of whom spoke Tigrigna with the same accent as she does, she was heard using such FOREIGN words as " b'teley b'teley awuzi lelekum..." Since no Eritrean is familiar with the use of such words let me help to translate what the "fluent tigrigna speaking" correspondent was saying translated to an Eritrean Tigrigna. " b'teley" = " b'hilfi", "awzi" = "abzi" , "lelekum" = "zelekum".
It was clear to anyone who heard the VOA radio broadcast on that particular day, the correspondent is from the place to the South of the PERMANENTLY DEMARCATED BORDER.

......It's no wonder a beggar maid was assigned to conduct a report on a woyane sponsored demonstration.

Also, few days ago, there was a massive peaceful demonstration in London by the People of the Horn Of Africa against the tyrany, oppression and genocides being committed by the genocidal terrorist minority woyane regime rulling Ethiopia. The demonstration was participated by Oromos, Amhara, Sidamas, Gambellas, Ethiopian Afars, Somalians, and Eritreans. There were no Tigrayans participated in the peaceful demonstration for obvious reason. They seem to retreat from any demonstration the word "peaceful" is attached to it. Only God knows why.
Not surprisingly, it was Minia who was assigned to report on the demonstration. She conducted a Telephone interview with one of the event's organizers ( Sirak) and she posed a rather odd question to why the participating demonstrators called themselves "Oromo, Gambella, Sidama, Amhara, Afars..." as opposed to calling themselves...

........as opposed to calling themselves "Ethiopians" ?
Sirak responded, these are the people who are oppressed by the genocidal terrorist woyane regime who is occupying their lands. And this is a peaceful demonstration that is calling for an end to woyane's genocides, rapes and terrorist acts the regime is committing in various regions in the Horn of Africa with blessings from its masters.
That is how Sirak responded to her. But the VOA correspondent from the south of the PERMANENTLY demarcated border, edited , chopped the interview and she did not allow the listeners to listen to the entire response she had gotten from Sirak, for obvious reasons.
My friend was right on the dot when he told me, "VOA's Tigrigna Language Program is an Oxymoron."

By the way, The woyane regime's jamming of the VOA was not intended at jamming the VOA Tigrigna Program Radio, but the Oromo, Amhara (Kinijit) Programs. But since all of these programs originate from the same source, the wo...

By the way, The woyane regime's jamming of the VOA was not intended at jamming the VOA Tigrigna Program Radio, but the Oromo, Amhara (Kinijit) Programs. But since all of these programs originate from the same source, the woyane regime as no choice but to jam them all.
You would think Minia Kolel would be unhappy with the jamming of her broadcasts. WRONG !!

hehehe...i tuned in to VOA two times and man i really struggled to understand what the hell they were saying.they have one of the thickest accent, and i found it abslutely difficult to understand.

i'm from the new eritrean generation, and i've lived and talked to people with many accents such as tigre, arabic and even english accent, but *game accent is the stupidest of all.

so it's no suprise the VOA works for the tigray thugs. too bad they confuse people in the name of freedom of speech.
