US Administration’s shameful acts exposed Print E-mail

The US Government as a result of its misguided policy is unable to have the trust even of its own subjects. The government is denying its people the right to privacy by bugging every house with sophisticated transmitters and listening to every telephone and other electronic communications between individuals and even between spouses. Hence, the Administration has dragged the American people into an abominable life full of frustration and uncertainty.

This despicable Administration which presents itself as reference regarding the respect of human rights while shamelessly accusing societies, who live by the rule of law, is investing billions of dollars for espionage activities and has denied its citizens their right to privacy by putting them under strict surveillance. Moreover, it has been quite long since the Administration has exerted into acts of terrorism by deploying military power and intelligence network to every corner of the world aimed at putting the people of the world submissive to its appetite of exploitation and dominance. And yet, it wants to spread through out the world the illegal and blatant surveillance system being committed against its people, and is telling us that they have begun bugging our telephone communications.

It is one concrete evidence that the US Administration recently, through its mouthpiece the UN, has accused Eritrea for “smuggling arms into Somalia” claiming that it verified the information through tapping telephone conversations. As everyone has been following, this is not for the first time that the US has made such allegations against Eritrea. This recent allegation will have no meaning since all past false allegations have been foiled with concrete evidences. It is not beyond the knowledge of every one that the accusation has come to cover up the failure of the administration as a result of its erroneous policies. Although the recent allegation and the unfounded evidence accompanying it are baseless they have brought one truth into light. It is the utter disregard of the US Administration of the rights of peoples of the world and an indication its impractical ambition and desire to see the people of the world live with fear and terror by putting them under constant espionage and insecurity.

On this occasion the Government of Eritrea would like once again to express that the accusation made by the US Administration through its mouthpiece, the UN against Eritrea is a fabrication that time will uncover. It also would like to challenge the administration to make the alleged telephone conversation public to the world with all its contents.
