 It is interesting to see the reaction Sophie Tesfamariam is getting from the want to be opposition "groups" and individuals in reaction to the article she wrote about a criminal . What is funny but sad is the fact that these people never address issues.
They use character assassination strategies to attract the gullible, the disgruntled, the weak, the power hungry and those who committed crimes. Particularly those who committed treason and believe their crimes will be washed away if PFDJ disappears.  They tried to demonize Sophie as noted on her article, they called her all kinds of names because she stood for her people and her country. She stands like no other, brilliantly, with passion, determination, wit, PR savvy and with an attitude that exposes, educates, and reveals the truth.
Sophie Tesfamariam is revealing the truth about these shady characters in a way that resonates and assures them that their game is over. Eritrean people know who these shady characters are even if we didn't have all the information Sophie may have on them. I believe any reasonable person can see the tendencies of these treasonous lost souls if you follow up on what they have been doing and writing and conclude they don't represent the interest of Eritrea and the people of Eritrea. Particularly, those who were hard hit by the human rights violations of the Weyane regime, like those deported forcibly, internally displaced and so on. Their whole strategy hinged on highlighting the negative, demonizing the PFDJ, President Isayas Afewerki and most importantly any one who publicly stands by our government like Sophie has since the war in 2000. They attack indiscriminately, predictably and spin news out of our beloved country as bad or try to highlight Eritrea in the negative as if the country is worse off than the Taliban run Afghanistan.
 But all that relentless attack and spin failed because of the message and the messenger, that simple. They were consistent and consistently in line with what Weyane advocated and stood for. Their first article of the year on January first is an example "The Answer Is Still Dialogue" and all you have to do is look at the first page of their website, there you will see the imbalance and the bias. What is the position of Weyane? It is "Dialogue" and I can assure you, it isn't by coincidence they are advocating for dialogue. You will never see any attack on Weyane and you will never see a position different than Weyane. The trend is very well established. If Weyane calls for a united opposition you will definitely see an article dealing with the subject attacking the weak opposition and urge them to unite. On the 15th of Jan they announced the meeting in Addis by "senior" representatives of the EDA umbrella group. I would like to ask the reader to imagine any American group or individual holding meetings in Taliban led Afghanistan and think to ever step foot in the US and expect to reside as a free person? For me this is a clear evidence of the brazen disregard to the sovereignty of our nation, by these people, because to be escorted or I should say be an escort to Weyane in order to come to power is the ultimate sin in my book. Remember Tali-Dan? That is your fate!
It is very educational to live in the metro DC area because I can encounter the true life Chalabis as directed by the State Department. I have been fortunate enough to be able to witness how the State Department formulates groups such as the one they crowned to run Iraq led by Chalabi and the methodology used. And to see these lost souls cow tow to Weyane in Addis must be very low deserving of the honor, "MINI CHALABIS". Mrs. Sophie Tesfamariam was right on the money to call them that. So what it means is the State Department recruits a Diaspora community of a nation in order to use their name to replace a government(s) that they want to replace. Case in point Iranians in Dubai are sizeable and it means the State Department pays a special attention to recruit new Chalabis. The Somalia TFG is another example.
What is particularly peculiar is the amount of articles they devoted on Sophie and the way they went after her while defending their colleague; I will call Salih G-Hadi. It goes to show three things:
A) they want to demonize Sophie to neutralize her because she brilliantly got them where it hurts by surprise. B) To protect the image of Mr. G-Hadi because there is a great deal invested on his name to be labeled a rapist and a traitor. C) It means they truly want to show him support because they want to be on his side? They are barking very loud making noises, but they are miserably failing to connect because they are trying to defend the indefensible. Ibrahim B, in defense of Salih G-Hadi wrote an article he called "Weighing In On Ms. Sophia T's Accusations" about the botched Keren prison mission. What is revealing about the character witness that he wanted to provide is that, he skirted around the issues by giving many justifications/excuses and failed to call Salih G-Hadi a hero! He is either a hero or a coward, there is no two ways about it and he is obviously not a hero to the many who died that dreaded night!
What is hidden underneath all this? The noisy DOGS are not talking about Eritrea, justice and Eritrean. As a refugee who trekked through Sudan, I have heard many stories, similar to the account of the thirteen-year-old kid and adults who were raped on the hands of Ex-Jebha leaders, particularly in liberated areas like Mendefera. Mothers used to hide their daughters because girls of a young age were targeted and I know a person with that experience. It is hard to witness these DOGS not addressing the issues but pretend like they are as they dance around it and made Sophie a target of opportunity and attacked her credibility. This will change nothing because she successfully seared an "image" on the heads of Eritrean who knows and knows people who raped innocent Eritrean women. These women are living with that guilt and shame, not wanting to revisit the ugly past, understandably. These lost souls want to make it look like it is much more important to protect one of theirs (criminal) instead of Eritrean women, the victims.
This is where I come to thank ALLAH/GOD for those who died for a united Eritrea regardless of their political orientation. For those who paid with blood, sweat tears, their time, their youth, ideals, brain and all God given gift in an effort to liberate Eritrea. Liberate it not only from Ethiopian colonial rules but also from the filth that Sophie described in her article. I thank Allah/God because Eritrea is built under the umbrella of Awet N-HAFASH and Hade-Hizbi-Hade-Libi. That is the reason why the Addis based Mini Chalabis (criminals) will not succeed no matter what. This is what they need to understand, His Excellency, President Isayas Afewerki said the border is demarcated and there is nothing that can change it and no discussion, or dialogue.
I am also thankful for the vivid motto that exemplifies the Eritrean zest and strident trek to victory, "let the dogs bark while the camel strides" as always! Every day they bark the camel goes farther away and let them succumb to old age drinking tea and smoking as illustrated by AA-Scoonis! In their articles they scolded Sophie for questioning their Eritrean identity, I guess the best way I can support her is by describing what makes American? One who aspires for the American dreams and lives it to the fullest. So, what describes Eritrean? Any one who aspires to be a part of the Hade Hizbi Hade Libi-Hafash! Any thing less is unacceptable!
