Shunned by the Ethiopian people, as well as the entire people of the Horn region, for its sub-national politics, and suffering from deep political crises, it is not surprising to see the TPLF regime resorting to terrorist activities; for it is the nature of all anti-people forces facing an inevitable doom. However, it is surprising to see those self-proclaimed champions of anti-terrorism aiding and abetting the TPLF regime, which ahs constantly been terrorizing the people of the region.
Terrorism, as some may think, is not a demonstration of power but a sign of weakness and escape from reality. Acts of terrorism emanate from fear and frustration and, hence, have no clear objective but are merely a reaction to a sense of desperation. Consequently, bewildered by the forceful popular opposition, the TPLF regime has resorted to executing terrorist attacks inside Eritrea by violating our country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. So far, the Government of Eritrea has handled, with patience, the repeated damage inflicted on Eritrean civilian populations as a result of these attacks. However, at some point, the Government would be compelled to remind that there is a limit to patience, for it will not be right to let a debilitated regime disrupt the peace and stability of the people.

Letter dated Nov. 30'07 from the Legal Adviser to the President of Eritrea to the president of the UNSC
From `legal nonsense to `legal fiction.

With effect from midnight tonight (30.11.2007), the demarcation of Ethio-Eritrean boundary will be as complete as any demarcated interstate boundary would be, if not better defined.
